Duties and Responsibilities: An environmental specialist is concerned with the environmental quality of a community, and the health and safety of the workers in that community. They are responsible for enforcing local, state and federal regulations that pertain to the sanitation of our food and water. They can also be in charge of collecting and analyzing samples to determine if there is any danger that could be caused to the public.
Salary; $51,292.80- $62,982.40
Education: Most environmental health specialists have a high school diploma. They also earn a bachelor’s degree and others including a masters or doctoral degree.
I would not like to be one because I feel like it is something that just doesn't interest me.
