I would not like to be one because I feel like I would get traumatized by their injuries.

who would otherwise need a higher level of care 

the opportunity to live on their own. They do tasks

such as dressing and bathing, and helping to keep 

homes safe and clean.


Salary: $20,170 average


Education: High School - Vocational. 




I would not like to be one because I get very lazy easily and that would not help the other person.

                            Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities: Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

Salary: $41,830 per year $20.11 per hour


Education: Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for community health workers.


I would like to be one because the pay is good and I would enjoy teaching health-related topics.

                 Health Information Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: Medical records and health information technicians, commonly referred to as health information technicians, organize and manage health information data. They ensure its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper and electronic systems. They use various classification systems to code and categorize patient information for insurance reimbursement purposes, for databases and registries, and to maintain patients’ medical and treatment histories.

Salary: $34,160 per year$16.42 per hour


Education:  post secondary certificate to enter the occupation,
 although they may have an associate’s degree. Many employers also require professional certification.


I would not like to be one because it looks like too much work and not enough money per hour.

              Environmental Health Specialist 

Duties and Responsibilities: An environmental specialist is concerned with the environmental quality of a community, and the health and safety of the workers in that community. They are responsible for enforcing local, state and federal regulations that pertain to the sanitation of our food and water. They can also be in charge of collecting and analyzing samples to determine if there is any danger that could be caused to the public.
   
Salary; $51,292.80- $62,982.40 

Education: Most environmental health specialists have a high school diploma. They also earn a bachelor’s degree and others including a masters or doctoral degree.
                                            
I would not like to be one because I feel like it is something that just doesn't interest me.
