Luke Aikins

1) Luke Aikins set the record for the highest jump in skydiving history by jumping from 25,000 feet.

2) He has completed more than 18,000 jumps since he started skydiving at the age of 12.

3) I think technology impacted his experience because he jumped from an aircraft that could have only been made with technology.

5) I think that this excellence that was achieved would be the goal that everyone has so he was very fortunate to have been the first to do it. I think the most important lesson that I have learned from this example is that you can aim this big if you're determined and don't allow yourself to be controlled by your fears or anyone's words. If you do something 18,000 times you're going to be very good at it.

                            World Records

World record: Longest Continuous Vocal Note

World record holder: Richard Fink IV

When the world record was set: September 8 2009

This world record fascinates me the most because it is amazing to think that someone could sing a note for 1 minute and 43 seconds without stopping and running out of breath oh my god that is just so cool. I can't even keep a note going for longer than 10 seconds! I wouldn't like trying to break a world record myself because I am a very lazy person and I would give up way too easily.
